11th Latino Taste Festival

The Coalition of Latino Leaders announces its 11th Latino Taste Festival on Saturday, Oct. 4 in downtown Dalton’s Burr Park, at the corner of Hamilton Street and Crawford Street.
“Come and enjoy traditional authentic Latino food from different regions of Mexico and other countries, like Dominican Republic, Colombia, Perú, Venezuela, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and many more,” organizers said. “We have about 70 food vendors and handcrafts, plus many agencies.”
Latino food vendors from the community will start serving at noon, and they will continue until 5 p.m., while attendees can enjoy traditional music and dances performed by groups from different Latin American countries and regions.
Officials said, “We’ll have a dancing group representing Peru, another group representing the south region of Mexico, as well as Aztec dancers and our Youth Folk Dance Groups, as well as other groups coming from Atlanta, for you to enjoy.”
