All-Staff 2026: Keeping it Personal, One Thank You at a Time

Employees of Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union (TVFCU) gathered on Presidents’ Day for their annual All-Staff event — the only time each year all 600 employees come together in one room. Held at the historic Wink Theatre in Dalton, GA, this year’s event also celebrated TVFCU’s 90th anniversary.

Team members from across Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia traveled to Dalton for breakfast, connection, and departmental breakout sessions focused on professional development and strengthening member service.
The afternoon program, opened by Dalton Mayor Annalee Sams, included an awards ceremony recognizing milestone service anniversaries, outstanding performance, and community impact across TVFCU’s 17-county footprint.
Motivational speaker and author John Israel, known as “Mr. Thank You,” delivered the keynote address, reinforcing the event theme, “Keeping it Personal, One Thank You at a Time.” Through powerful storytelling, he encouraged employees to lead with gratitude and deepen personal connections.

As TVFCU marks 90 years of service — from its founding in 1936 — leadership emphasized the continued importance of human connection.
“As technology continues to transform how we bank and connect, the value of genuine human interaction has never been greater,” said Todd Fortner, TVFCU’s President and CEO. “Digital tools help us serve efficiently, but personal relationships build trust. Keeping it personal is what will carry us into the next 90 years.”

Employees left energized and inspired, ready to carry the spirit of gratitude into every branch and every member interaction.
