TVFCU is Here to Help Members Impacted by the Government Shutdown

At TVFCU, we care deeply about our members and the communities we serve. We understand that the ongoing government shutdown may cause unexpected financial challenges, and we want you to know that we’re here to help.


For Members with a TVFCU Vehicle or Personal Loans

If you are a federal employee who is not currently receiving a paycheck, you may qualify for a Hardship Skip-A-Pay.

The Skip-A-Pay program allows qualified members to skip a monthly payment on eligible loans. The skipped payment is then added to the end of your loan term with no fee for this hardship program.

For Members with a TVFCU Mortgage

Our mortgage partner, TruHome Solutions, stands ready to assist members impacted by the shutdown.

Eligible members may qualify for:

  1. Forbearance – a temporary pause in mortgage payments, allowing time for the shutdown to be resolved. Once federal back pay is received, arrearage payments will be due at the end of the forbearance period, and regular monthly payments will resume.

  2. No late charges while the loan is in forbearance.

  3. Suspension of negative credit reporting during the forbearance period.
