TVFCU Announces Quarterfinalists in Idea Leap Grant Competition

After reviewing more than 420 applications, TVFCU has selected 64 quarterfinalists for the 2025 Idea Leap Grant competition. These businesses now move one step closer to the semifinal round and the chance to earn grant funding for their continued growth. Each region—Chattanooga, Northwest Georgia, and the Ocoee Region—will receive $75,000 in grants.
The Idea Leap Grant competition supports small businesses by providing funding to help them grow, innovate, and positively impact their communities. Each year, entrepreneurs from across the three regions apply to advance through multiple stages, ultimately competing for a share of $225,000 in total grant funding. Only 15 businesses will move on to the finalist round. The following quarterfinalists are kicking off the first stage of the competition:

Regional Competitions During Small Business Week (May 3 – 9, 2026):
The Ocoee Region and Northwest Georgia competitions will air on Local 3 News. The Chattanooga competition will be live at The Signal on May 7, 2026. It is free for anyone in the community to attend.
