What’s the best part?

Not only are you going to have an amazing time golfing, but proceeds will be donated to support education. Last year, TVFCU was able to donate over $60,000 to support STARS (Students Taking A Right Stand) and Junior Achievement of Greater Chattanooga, Dalton and the Ocoee Region.

STARS (Students Taking A Right Stand): STARS Chattanooga is making a positive impact on the school culture and climate in Hamilton County schools by implementing an innovative empathy-based student training program, Move2Stand (M2S). Through this program, students are encouraged to reflect on their attitudes and behaviors towards disrespectful and bullying conduct. Following the training, over 80% of students reported feeling equipped to prevent and stop bullying. This training, alongside the Kindness Matters Campaign, is significantly shaping the atmosphere on our school campuses, fostering a culture of compassion and respect.

Junior Achievement: TVFCU is proud to support Junior Achievement (JA) of Chattanooga, the Ocoee Region and Dalton in their mission to promote financial literacy in the communities across our 17-county service area. TVFCU representatives have already scheduled 30 classes to teach financial literacy this year and are providing additional support to JA in various ways. JA's goal is to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in work and career readiness, business ownership and financial literacy. By partnering with JA, TVFCU is helping to prepare the next generation for a brighter financial future.
