Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union Celebrates National Black Business Month

August 3, 2020

“Every day we work with amazing Black-owned businesses from across our service area,” said Marcus Cade-Johnson, TVFCU business lender. “This video series showcases a handful of those businesses in our area and how they help our communities.”

Black business owners account for about 10 percent of U.S. businesses and about 30 percent of all minority-owned businesses. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, that amounts to approximately two million companies owned by African Americans.

Each Friday throughout August, TVFCU will release one or two videos featuring the following businesses.
