Andy Woodman Named Director Of Mortgage Lending At TVFCU

Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union announced Tuesday that Andy Woodman has been named director of Mortgage Lending at TVFCU. This is a new position within TVFCU, further solidifying TVFCU’s commitment to growth and to their members, said officials. 

“Andy has roughly 25+ years of experience in the bank, broker, and credit union space and we are thrilled to have him join us here at TVFCU,” said Eric Weekley, vice president, Mortgage and Consumer Lending. “As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our team and adapt to the evolving landscape of mortgage lending, we have created this new role to address the dynamic needs of our expanding operations. The creation of this position reflects TVFCU’s dedication to staying at the forefront of mortgage lending trends. By strategically adding this role to our organizational structure, we aim to strengthen our capabilities and enhance our ability to deliver unparalleled value to our members and community.”

Mr. Woodman joins TVFCU as the director of Mortgage Lending, bringing with him 27 years of comprehensive experience overseeing all facets of mortgage lending, including originations, operations, secondary marketing, and loan servicing. His most recent seven-year tenure in a similar role was at Georgia United Credit Union in Duluth.

Expressing a deep commitment to the credit union movement, Mr. Woodman highlights lending as the most rewarding aspect of his career. He looks forward to extending his dedicated service to TVFCU members and is thrilled to be part of an organization and team that are highly respected both regionally and within the broader industry. 

Originally from Whiting, N.J., Mr. Woodman moved to Roswell at a young age. He earned his bachelor’s in Risk Management and Insurance from Georgia State. Aside from his work, Mr. Woodman currently holds the position of president at the Southeast Credit Union Real Estate Network and has been a board member since 2017.
